BUSINESS FOR SALE

MANUFACTURED DURABLE MEDICAL PRODUCTS FOR SALE

Business type:

Non-Medical, Medical Related Business - Manufactured durable medical products for sale

Description:

BUSINESS SUMMARY & DESCRIPTION - Reduced Price to Sell!! Owner has for all intents and purposed closed the business down, but a few orders still trickle in even though the website is gone. (Owner has 700 DME dealers (past customers) on its lists – which would be included in the sale.) This is an asset sale only on an as-is where-is basis. Price is plus shipping/ handling. Purchaser would have opportunity to view the items for their own due diligence on site in E. Tx. approx. 30+ minutes from Tyler, Tx. or ~ 3 hours from Dallas.

Product line includes wheelchairs, wheelchair parts, portable commodes, tub transfer benches, canes, walkers, and walker parts. Originally, the pricing was not competitive as owners were not able to afford to manufacturer in-house any longer. (* FMV $120,000 including moulds)

Inventory included in this sale is basically at less than cost of production as not only the inventory is included but also some materials (way less than wholesale pricing.) (** Inventory $42,000, including a few thousand in raw materials)

The price also includes the 8 manufacturing moulds (built-in the U.S.) that are made of high quality steel for the manufacturing of some of the plastic components, which the Seller believes have a fair market value of ~ $92,000.00.

REDUCED PRICE (only if purchase all) for very quick sale @ $50,000.00 for all.***

***IF SEPARATED: The purchase pricing is as follows:

Moulds alone $45,000.00

Inventory alone $35,000.00

(The plastic injection moulding machines are not included as they were recently sold)

FACILITIES - Relocatable anywhere USA

MARKET OUTLOOK & COMPETITION - The industry is huge - most of the players are larger firms who manufacture their parts overseas with this platform, and with the acquisition of the proprietary moulds, a strategic buyer could easily intergrate the line into their company.

GROWTH POTENTIAL & EXPANSION - The most likely buyer, due to the warranty issues, will be a strategic manufacturer of same or like products; a dme distribution co. who wants to grow with its own mfr. arm; or to a buyer who wants to begin the manufacturing in its own facility or outsource to an injection moulder in the states or in China, and only assemble in house.

As the population continues to age, there will be an increasingly greater need for wheelchairs and walkers. A strategic buyer, as in a DME distribution company, could have their own line manufactured as well as selling additional lines for a higher profit margin. Or a manufacturer of other medical products/equipment may want to purchase this as a base for a horizontal platform.

SUPPORT & TRAINING - Owner will educate buyer in the industry and how to get the product produced at transition - as he is overseas, this would be by email.

REASON FOR SALE - Owner took job overseas and cannot manage from there.
